A spectacular symphony of sound, ending in a crescendo with every audience member ‘making noise’ with specially provided mouth organs and mini dholaks. Eight’ – Film screenings on the Millennium Development Goals
Watch 8 powerful films by world-renowned directors over a two-day film festival with each film relating to one of the 8 Millennium Development Goals and their attempt to eradicate poverty by 2015. The films featured are: Abderrahmane Sissako’s Tiya’s Dream, Gael Garcia Bernal’s The Letter, Mira Nair’s How Can It Be, Gus Van Sant’s Mansion on the Hill, Jan Kounen’s The Story of Panshin Beka, Gaspard Noé’s SIDA, Jane Campion’s The Water Diary and Wim Wenders’ Person to Person.
